THE FOOD

Red Sky uses fresh, local, organic produce whenever possible, purchasing from a variety of Maine farms. Fresh bread baked daily in-house, hand-cut meats, fresh local seafood, varying vegetarian choices, and a sinful selection of house-made desserts make Red Sky's menu a welcome change of pace from traditional Down-East fare.

THE WINE

Red Sky offers an ever-evolving wine list designed to be enjoyed, not simply displayed. Carefully selected wines ranging from $24 to $140 represent varietals and styles from both the Old and New Worlds of wine. Each evening we invite you to try our featured wine—a wine we select from the list to serve by the glass.

If you need assistance with your wine selection, you can count on our expert staff. Each day they are introduced to our latest culinary creations and led through a brief wine seminar before you arrive so that they can recommend the perfect food-wine pairing for your meal.

If you'd like to enjoy a cocktail before dinner or a cordial afterwards, we feature a full-service bar with a wide selection of wine, beer—including two varieties brewed right here on Mount Desert Island—and spirits. And you can also dine at the bar if it strikes your fancy.
