At Red Sky, our goal is to provide an elegant dining experience without the usual stuffiness. A natural evolution of American fine dining, Red Sky uses quality fresh ingredients creatively prepared, emphasizing the fresh seafood of the Maine coast, select hand-cut meats, and locally grown organic produce.
Red Sky's menu is the result of many years spent serving the public in various parts of the country. Elizabeth Geffen Lindquist brings to the restaurant fifteen years of experience working in fine dining and innkeeping. James Lindquist has worked in a variety of venues, from Connecticut to New York to Aspen, and back home to Maine.
As members of a seasonal community, we feel it is just as important to provide a welcoming place for year-round Mount Desert Island residents as it is to do so for our summer visitors. That's why Red Sky is open eleven months of the year, including New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day.
